In his first year at Arkansas, head coach Mike Anderson was fired on March 9, 2013, following a poor performance during Southeastern Conference play and after losing to Missouri in conference tournament play. Anderson was replaced by interim head coach John Pelphrey on March 10. On April 10, 2013, Oklahoma State head coach Travis Ford was hired as Head Coach.
